it s more advanced "station project" i have
( i want my "Stars-Vegas" station for spend money)
but this one later
First : more station for different faction
i think in each Faction we will find special's goods ? no ?
( manny beverage's demand in Uln ,Beauty goods in Shaper, antiquity in Purist.....etc)
for interest traders....

hello
i improved the station see below and i tryed to make a better thing with each station now i will try to give you a "station background landing"

and the landing :

but look the final rendering the map is 4096X4096 but now i think i m not sure we use Mipmap no??
and 3 map =diffuse+Glow+normal:

absolutely awesome. the only thing i can think to add would be docking rings/ports somewere. are they supposed to be at the end of the spike type bowl things? i think at least one or two docking rings maybe for small ships would fit well inside the giant hole area thing?
I just ask cuz for being a luxury-city-station thing parking looks to be a nightmare. lol. But then parking it cities is supposed to be a nightmare isn't it?

i thought the docking point ( because is a game not a reality) should be just in a central point between the hole .
is not a station for very big unit
A bio adaptation/spa/relax center needn't a huge terminal
for exemple at the moment Paris (my city) is full of tourist and you haven't a bulk terminal for ULCC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ULCC)
because is not a purpose of this city...........
i m not living in Rotterdam......

The model went into the svn data set with 1449.2 m diameter (scale factor 80). This seems rather small when approaching with the Llama.
Unfortunately, i have completely overlooked the canon name and instead of naming the unit "Shaper_Bio_Adaptation", I have named it "Flower_Station" in the first commit. The renaming was done immediately and should be no issue as hopefully nobody was that fast to have the station in their saved system files.
Also added the station landing background.

i hope i can see soon but i never heard units converter write the master-part-list...
another thing : i tryed to convert the Mk32 (i finish all placement and shield i miss the dmg map ): but how i can crab the position of the marker in unit converter this step is totally under shadow, in fact for the moment and with my level of english i could understood just the setting (config) it's already a great walk for humanity (sorry for me..)
and is not possible to have a button for browse all marker (and other like shield mesh) i place and choose the one i want? (maybe is to much asking no?)

hello i rework the Shaper station clean the mesh and remove some bad triangle around the landing area
in my Game version this station appear with the normal inside. then i did the Chuck trick (ctrl+[n]) used for the uln station.
And yes in game is little bit small Station maybe it will be better to increase the size by 100% (the stage/level/floor/ building seems to be a student-flat)

the texture are already in masters svn then just the mesh ( "artisticly speaking" i prefer use the shield-sphere default mesh for this station)
missed the spec texture and Ao ( no repetitive mesh on this models) the tex map is 4096widht. i can't bake it (need one week maybe)( i already can't work on it with Ps!!)
For Radiosity i have a question : could it possible to use the Glow map for set the source of light and not select a surface mesh?

OK. I can update the mesh, no issue.
As for the size, the station is already 1.5km in diameter. It is indeed very strange that it seems to be so tiny.
With the current shaders you do not require the AO texture.
I don't seem to be able move this thread to another forum.

I moved it for you pyramid had to figure it out myself with this new interface In the moderator control panel click Moderate Forum this should get you a view of all the topics mark the one to move scroll to the bottom of the page to the drop down box and select move click submit the next page asks you where to put it and whether to leave a shadow topic or not click submit this page.And it's done
