Visual Studio Express 2005 and dropping VC6 support

Post by ace123 »

Because of the new OGRE backend, we are dropping support for VC6 under windows. (It works for the moment only on Debug boost 129 or Release boost 129)

If you want to compile VS in the long term without paying money to M$, then you will need to get their free compiler, Visual Studio Express.

See this wiki page:

If anyone has problems compiling, please post either here or in the Compiling Problems forum.

Also note that you will need the vega-vc7 project CVS module and not the old VC6 project.
