The Tarsus, Orion, Galaxy and Centurion will only advance at the beginning of RF. No other ship will do so at any time.

The bonus campaign offers no real reward, apart from the possibility to buy stock Dralthis, and/or the appearance of a new faction with its own bases and the chance to make good money by trading with them, though you will need to be rather rich to pass the campaign in an adequate ship.

The campaign originally (pre-PR1.2) enabled the cloaking device, but it has been taken out for it has proven too unbalanced.

I'm finally up to the last branch of the Bonus Campaign. The AWACS.
Just how far and for how long does it go on??? We have conquered ND-57, New Detroit and now I'm up to Saxtogue. I'm begging for a spoiler here. How long do I repeat the same 5 missions in different systems before it ends?........Comrade Zool slowly losing individuality in the Party......Nooooooooo!!!!!

I've read somewhere that it will definitively eventually end, but I never had the nerves to check it out for myself. Maybe it depends on the player's performance. The reward is also said to be quite disappointing, just the ability to make big bucks while trading between fed and awacs systems.

Ahhhhh, thanks Andy.

I actually thought that might be the case. OK Comrade Zool hereby resigns his hammer and sickle.

Go to Munchen Refinery in Tingerhoff, talk to Destinee.
When you get to the mission to smuggle Ultimate to Speke you have a choice. Follow Destinees instructions or deliver the contraband. I don't want to say too much here though. Might spoil it for you

Spaceman Spiff completed it and told us all the ending.

20,000 cred and being a war hero. Ooh, and still being hated by everyone and everything.

P. S. I got half way through and stop to start the main campaign and it took me in excess of 500 retros to get my rep back up again.

wow thats a lot of retros!

And whatever campaign side that is, I dont want to do that...

Is this a placeholder campaign? Cause it doesnt seem to fit the main wing commander universe very well...

I don't evan know who made it. It does not fit the rest of the game.

Remember that when you make a campaign.

Good news, The AWACs campain branch does not go on forever. There is an end and it's rather disappointing. Just the fact that by the end of it every faction hates you makes it not worth doing. But I did it so I could finish the Bonus Campaign Walkthrough. Now I can go back to being a capitalist again. WOOHOO :!: :!:

That is easy to fix. Where "N" is the largest number of ships that you have recently killed of any single faction that you want to appease (excluding Luddite & Kilrathi), go shoot N+10 Luddites &/or Kilrathi.

I found the best place to shoot Kilrathi was New Detroit & for Luddites I jump back & forth between Saxtoge & Oxford. Keeping your mission queue full is good because they guarantee that you get the spawns that you want.
I want to live in Theory. Everything works in Theory.

Luddites :?: :? :?: Do you mean Retros :? Ahhh here it is:
Online Etymology Dictionary - Cite This Source
Luddite

1811, from name taken by an organized band of weavers who destroyed machinery in Midlands and northern England 1811-16 for fear it would deprive them of work. Supposedly from Ned Ludd, a Leicestershire worker who in 1779 had done the same before through insanity (but the story was first told in 1847). Applied to modern rejecters of automation and technology from at least 1961.

Online Etymology Dictionary, © 2001 Douglas Harper
As for repairing faction reputations that is basically what I do. Fly to an area regularly frequented by the enemy of the faction I have bad rep with and just keep killing their enemy until the rep is better. But I have about a hundred savegames to choose from so no problem there.

Hehe... never worry about that.
I'm planning to implement a bonus campaign where you can make friendship with the nuts, which means in the end with everyone.
