Enemys accumulate?

Post by HeyYou »

Well, ran a few missions after the Palan set, and now the hunters, and kilrathi hate me. I have been trying to avoid killing kilrathi, and picking off retros, and pirates, so they will at least be neutral again, and avoid fighting them. However, it has come to my attention that I have gathered a following. About 25 Gothri's now follow me everywhere I go. They have accumulated over time, and every kilrathi I pass, now joins in the fun. It has gotten so that I go everywhere on full afterburner, and if I turn and try to face them, I dont even get a shot off before the SEA of incoming fire destroys me. (picture your screen turning an interesting shade of blue, there are so many bolts coming at you.....)

I figgered that if I went thru a jump, the kilrathi would not follow me. Doesnt seem to be the case. I would love to find a couple capitol ships for them to play with.....

Strange... If you save and load again, your "escorts" should be gone. By the way, killing retros slowly angries the kilrathi. If not, "use" the kilrathi for the harder palan missions. Else you might also find some help in the Pyrenees system

Interesting. When you exit and open the game again the first time you launch there is no ships. but yes it happened to me to. only i landed picked up my newly gotten Steltek fighter and blitzed them all. i uped my kill score by 58. Image

Still, steltek ships will not be available BEFORE your first encounter with the steltek. Anything else is a bug or hacking.

The mission, as hard as it seems, is possible. Even on the highest difficulty (which seems to me that it doesn't spawn more ships, but only arms talons better) it should take nothing more than patience.

Ok, exited the game, reloaded. They are gone now. Killed off a bunch of pirates, and folks are happier with me. (well, except the kilrathi..... they seem pissed off again, since I ran the Rygannon missions, killed a bunch of 'em.... including a capitol ship. Which I could not lock on till I was about 3000 whatevers away, and all fighters were destroyed.)

I play on hard. Some of the missions are VERY challenging, but, I have been getting by.

25 kilrathis? That must be fun. Anyway, in one of the previous versions i hapened to take 3 in system bounty missions against pirates, so i hapened end up in to massive furball of over 60 pirates. Demon is good furball fighter and otoh. more than few pirates were destroyed in crossfire, but i did do them all.

The Demon is overpowered, at least until RF starts. The gun placement is so good that your hit chance is fantastic even without autotrackers. Speed and maneuverability are excellent - evasion vs. shields. Thanks goodness, this advantage rebalances as soon as the Centurion goes up to R5/S5.
