dynamic universe

Need help testing contributed art or code or having trouble getting your newest additions into game compatible format? Confused by changes to data formats? Reading through source and wondering what the developers were thinking when they wrote something? Need "how-to" style guidance for messing with VS internals? This is probably the right forum.

In vegatrek, we are proceeding slowly, but surely to the point where we want to implement the dynamic universe :D . At the moment, we dont have anything of that stuff, only single missions, no generation of missions on the bases, no news, and no dynamic universe with moving fleets and so on. But to start with, it would be really nice to know which files or scripts are needed for the dynamic universe to work (and, even better, which of them it would be necessary to adjust to our mod). So if anyone has some infos about this, we would really very much appreciate any help .
