vegastrike-0.4.3.rpm

Need help testing contributed art or code or having trouble getting your newest additions into game compatible format? Confused by changes to data formats? Reading through source and wondering what the developers were thinking when they wrote something? Need "how-to" style guidance for messing with VS internals? This is probably the right forum.

vegastrike-0.4.3.rpm

Post by gcclinux »

Just to let you all know that I have uploaded vegastrike-0.4.3.rpm to sourceforge. The rpm package was compiled on a 2.6 kernel using glibc 2.3.

It also has a menu icon integrated into gnome so that should be nice and easy for all gnome users.

Any problem with the rpm just drop me a message, but it works very well for me.

Hi,

thanks for your work.
But I have some questions:
Which gcc was used? sdl? Or did you some static-stuff?

and why gnome? who uses gnome anyway? ;)

How about:
gcc-3.3.3-43.28 + gcc-c++-3.3.3-43.28
and SDL-1.2.7-38.1

And to answer why do I use gnome, well I guess that is a preffered choice, as I know KDE has the most up to date stuff BUT gnome if faster and much more stable ;-)

I hope everyone enjoys it.
