python 3ds

Need help testing contributed art or code or having trouble getting your newest additions into game compatible format? Confused by changes to data formats? Reading through source and wondering what the developers were thinking when they wrote something? Need "how-to" style guidance for messing with VS internals? This is probably the right forum.

python 3ds

I see on the web lots on python modules for 3ds support. how hard would be to get this added to the game. Since most these modules allow importing of 3ds animation.

I can provide more links if needed.

the way to get 3ds support in Vega Strike is to write a 3ds importer in mesher.exe :-)

making it similar to the .obj logic would definitely be best
