How can I help?

Need help testing contributed art or code or having trouble getting your newest additions into game compatible format? Confused by changes to data formats? Reading through source and wondering what the developers were thinking when they wrote something? Need "how-to" style guidance for messing with VS internals? This is probably the right forum.

I discover vega strike a week ago and i liked both the ideea and the game.

I am also wondering what I can do to help. I'm having a hard time getting around the forums to figure out where I can be useful. I've got a Python programming book coming in the mail and am hoping I can help out using Python.

I was thinking about adding a Contributor's Guide to the wiki as a jumping-off point for folks like you (so far, all I've done is add a redlink to the HowTos section.)
But your situation affirms my feeling that there is a need for such an article. I'll work on it as soon as I get a chance. :D

Python coders... they're very much needed all over the place, because the entire campaign is coded in python. GUI is coded in python also.

So... first place where you could help, is coding campaign stuff.
