TortoiseSVN problems

Post by dividenot »

I'm downloading VS with Tortoise SVN and have been having troubles staying connected. The files are downloading ok but every 4MBs or so I get an error message saying something like "cannot read body".

Not really sure if that's normal or maybe I'm not downloading the right way.

After it disconnects I just right click on the Vega Strike folder within my SVN folder and click on update.

It is quite possible that the recent sever move is having an effect or just a bad path one of the nice things about SVN is that it handles dropped connections gracefully so restarting the update is fine hopefully it will clear up soon.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I was wondering if there was a way to have it automatically restart the update while I am afk.

Not with that particular svn client :( there are a few ways if you run Linux but Windows just does not have the proper infrastructure for unattended updates or check outs.

Enjoy the Choice :)
