turret pdlong vs capship heavy turret
hey everyone im considoring hacking my franklins unit file to upgrade the turrets (franklinpd's just dont cut it) and iv come across two possible turrets that i might fit. one being the pdlong and one being the capship heavy turret. At a station where i have found them they are identicle in price so im wondering which is overall better, not just interms of power but range as well.

Get the Pd Long. It's the turret on the Goddard and it is very useful (especially it's long range of about 25km)
The heavy capship turret shoots bolts afaik which tend to take longer to reach the target, thus don't hit it that often. The Pd long takes out hyenas and plowshares before they're close enough to fire themselves (apart from missiles, of cours, which have a range of about 40km)
