you have to select your targets for each tuuret with "P" then turn on the turret ai "o" "]" gives you manual control.hope this helps.

Hi,

last time I played, you DO NOT have to select the targets for your turrets, but you had to hit 'o' constantly, because after killing an enemy the turrets stopped shooting

Also: [] and other 'special' keys, that are only available with alt-gr never worked for me (thus crippling vs for me for).

you might try changeing the keybindings in vegastrike.config to something your keyboard can use.

My Goddard stats (in the Ships Info screen on the upgrade computer) says that my turrets are "damaged" and have nothing on them. When I try to buy turrets, I get red letters (i.e., can't buy them). (It's milspec, of course). I'll try the activation you suggested & see if that works.

1.) I did it once and it did not work well

2.) it would be nice, if vs works with non-us keyboards too. Other games do not have such problems.

have a look into the file.
If the turrets are destroyed, you can not repair them... the only way in that case is to edit the goddard.csv file.

Is that a bug or a feature? If it is a bug, then it's definitely a major isssue. It kind of sucks that after your turrets get destroyed, you're pretty much stuck unless you edit your config.

sometimes you can repair the ofending part buy highlighting it and clicking the repair button that appears it's not part of basic repair.

Non US-Keyboards: If you have a different layout you have still got to press the same key, topographically. That means that if your keyboard is German, like mine, you gotta hit + instead of ] (AltGr 9).
Here's what you can take to replace the {destroyed.blank...} in your Goddard.csv (in .vegastrike/serialized_xml):
