inhabited planet?

Post by ridingnowhere85 »

this has been bugging me forever. is there a way to tell if a planet is inhabited from space? i keep a list of how many of what are in what system, and figure that out by guesswork or trial and error.

Target the planet in question and toggle "m" till you get the manifest not much for sale usually means that the planet is not inhabited.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I think a lot of the uninhabited planets will say so on the VDU display, but there are possibly a few like "rocky" that don't. Maybe the milky_way.xml should be changed so that they are consistent on how they display.

i agree. games like EV nova would make it apparent while target if a planet was uninhabited
