Je ne crois pas que ce soit la bonne place pour poster ça, mais étant donné le niveau de mon anglais je me ferais certainement mieux comprendre sur ce forum.

Comme la plupart des français qui sont en france j'utilise un clavier azerty: J'arrive à utiliser la plupart des fonctions sauf les touches de communications (0 à 9), le startkey et d'autres. J'ai bien essayé de modifier le vegastrike.config mais ça ne donne strictement rien :

J'ai essayé "keypad-0" à "keypad-9" mais aussi &é"'(-è_çà pour 1234567890 et enfin de remplacer "none" par "shift"... en vain.

"Un keyboard layout FR" serait le bienvenu ou encore, si quelqu'un pouvait poster son 'keyboard configuration' se serait super !

Please note that the SDL function does not support accented keys (à,ç etc) at this moment. This may be the cause of your problem.

You can alter the config keybindings, but to test if it will work, save the config as an .xml file and open in a web browser. If an error appears, that key is not usable.

Bonjour a tous, étant un grand fan d'Elite 2, j'ai découvert avec un grand bonheur Vegastrike !
Par contre, j'ai un réel soucis avec le clavier azerty, les touches numériques ne fonctionnent pas, et je n'arrive pas à changer les key binding, meme en modifiant le vegastrike.config de mon /home, les modifications ne sont pas prises en compte.
J'ai la version 0.5 sous Ubuntu Gutsy, merci de votre aide.

I guess the good config file is in /home/eric/VegaStrike/vegastrike-0.5.0 , am i right ?

No the right one should be in .vegastrike-0.5.0 but since you have installed in userland vssetup gets a bit confused and only creates vegastrike.config.temp so rename it vegastrike.config and it will be the active one and the setup utility will now edit it instead of the master copy in data so let me know if that worked and your keyboard mappings take effect.
