Downloaded Vega Strike :)

Post by wolfen »

God I love this game, best game I've seen yet. I was reading somewhere about freespace haveing prettier graphics, all I can say is no it doesn't. the only thing freespace has that Vega Strike doesn't have is a online multiplayer ( yet )
My daughter even likes this game.

Ok uhhhh, I just thought of something about the multiplayer test srever, when you said combat only, what does that mean for those of us that are still running cargo from place to place trying to get enough money to get a better ship? LOL

I assume the "deathmatch" module would be independent from the single-player mission.

I didn't mean 'a separate download'...what I intended to say was I assume the deathmatch would be in an 'alternate game reality,' so your status in the main-game would be irrelevant...and the ships would be limited to those appropriate to deathmatch. Like a different "mission" selection.

I think it would be cool to have a dedicated server where people can play this as a new universe, trading and the like with friends for upgrades or ships and then having massive fights between ships in sectors. Be also cool to have group parties to bounty hunt defrient AI ships and gain a split reward.

Sorta like MMORPG - but just the MMO part. Fighting pirates every single day. Then, make planets that humans can take over and rule.

Win.
Live long and prosper.
