will you all only be using cannon ships
or will you use non cannon ships as well ??
as i hope for the ladder
i kinda like fan ships ( ^ my own Kitbash XD )

Well, it is very easy to add your own ship to VegaTrek on your local machine :)
But I hope when all NEEDED canon ships will be ready and working, we will be adding some non-canon ( as downloadable ship-packs )

...So if you want your ship in VegaTrek -- mail me it's description in a few words, it's weaponry and some stats for game.

Cool!! So I could put it Ships Owned By The United Federations Of Planets...?
Eg: USS Execlsior, USS Horizon, USS Podish, USS Reliant, ect...
Basecly, all UFOP ships that ARN'T CURRENTLY on Vega Trek..

If you have 3d models, we can easily add any ship of any race :-)
Moreover we can make any kind of weapons for it...
All we need -- ideas, models and people who is interested in it

I have a great idea for a ship but cant do any modeling- any resources out there to do easy modeling stuff?

Well, there is a great article how to modell inside blender. (
www.blender.org ).
Personally I've spent three days to learn how to build basical things and week to learn about texturing.
But if you can't model, you can help me with upgrades. Since there will be ready pictures of upgrades, I'll need some man to work with statistical info.

Ok ok thanks for that.. I'm a bit of a Trekkie myself, so when I get a good 3-D modeler I'll add all UFOP ships, (like the ones Ive just mentioned)...

Contact me when you have some pics/drawings of the ships you wanna have and I try to model them.
