where and how do I install Vega Trek?

If you're using Windows, it should be as easy as extracting it to a directory and running vegastrike.exe!

You bet!

There is going to be a minor minor release soon with half of the new ships, completely unbalanced. It should be just as easy to install, and better looking than the first release of Vega Trek... but it won't be as fun to play. It will be to get some help and advice playbalancing the various ships.
