Stand Alone Version?

Post by Guest »

I read the following in the Vega Trek readme:

"If you have downloaded the standalone Windows release, then you simply use your favorite file compression program to move the contents of the Vega Trek zip file to a directory of your choice."

Where can I get this version which doesn't need to take over Vega Strike to run? Is the Stand Alone version the 30mb package I downloaded, or is it a larger version I can get from somewhere else?

If you're running Windows, then the version you have should have a vegastrike.exe, and a launcher.exe that you can use to run the game!

Launching Error

I've tried that, it just gives me the message:

This application has failed to start because OpenAL32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Ok, it's working now, thanks.

When do you think the next version will be released?
