I use telekinesis to interface my mind directly to my computer's CPU.
But were I ever deprived of my amazing mind powers, I would use XP. It's inefficient, clunky, and you have to reformat and reinstall it every year or so, but it's the only operating system that actually runs anything interesting.
...Does anyone even still run Win95? God, that thing was like a cruel joke on humanity.

Yeah, there is no option for Mac, Linux, and Windows VI, which are probably the three most relavant options at this point (though I guess an argument could be made that WinVI isn't really relevant until SP1 anyway).
I guess the poll could be edited, but I don't think it's worth it.
Win95 and 98 really are the least relevant... I don't think anyone cares whether VS works there... and if they do, then they should move to Linux.
Whoops... now the tallies are all off. Oh well.
Other => Linux 2.4

I thought that the emulation was if you had the pretty special effects (actually I was working on a VI computer all today, and they aren't nearly as pretty as MacOSX or Beryl on Linux... but that's a different story)
Either way, I assume that the video card drivers can put in their own opengl.dll that can handle the calls natively.
I suspect that the emulation is only if you use stock microsoft drivers or you have a bad video card. However I don't really know how screwed up the driver system is in windows vista.
