I made this topic for asking various things like:

1) theres any way to edit saved files

2)How i edit the price of a ship

3)Can i edit the starting money

Put Simply: Yes, yes, and yes

Log description:
1) Your money is near the beginning of the file (Ship configurations are in a separate folder called serialized_xml containing a CSV for each ship you have.)

2) Master_part_list.csv (You can also add things to this to make them purchaseable)

3) Edit the .MISSION file corresponding to the mission you are playing (explore_universe.mission is the default)

Refer to the Wiki where my answers are not sufficient.

thanks man but the problem in the saved files is that i dont find them, i saved my file has Alex, where i should search?

Generally speaking, your save files are in the save directory located in the directory that starts with a "." under the main program directory.

For example (assuming a Win32 install of Vegastrike 0.4.3 stable on the C: drive):
c:\Program Files\Vegastrike\Vegastrike-0.4.3\.vegastrike\save

Is where you will find your saved games. To modify your ships the folder is:
c:\Program Files\Vegastrike\Vegastrike-0.4.3\.vegastrike\serialized_xml\save name where save name is your saved game name i.e. Alex.

I have MAC but with that i can see, not only inside the VS app...
