Missile Guidance Systems

Post by travists »

I have been wondering lately if there is any real difference in the different guidance systems. I know what they are supposed to do, but is the AI really different between them? I debated between here and Feature Requests, but at this point I would just like to know if I'm wasting my money and space on Image Recognition missiles. Way to many more interesting features being developed right now.

ImRec and Heat Seeker differ mostly on damage and targetting time.

Not sure if there are other differences, would have to dig into the source code.

Well, with any luck, we'll make it in time for openSUSE's third milestone release which is next week :)

I will most likely be migrating to OpenSUSE as soon as it is released kluass about time I switched to a KDE centered distro as I have come to dislike Gnome Shell and it's increasing lack of usability on large screens.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Since I started using Linux with Fedora Core 3 I have got'n used to using RPM's so that why I opted for OpenSUSE over Kbuntu :) besides they have a history of doing KDE right,I would stay with fedora but they use GDM as the window manager instead of KDM though that may be different with the fedora KDE spin as I have always added KDE to the basic install.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I've always used openSUSE as they have a history of well roundedness, not leaping before looking, etc. It's changed a bit since they added the "open" in openSUSE, but it's still my favorite.

And fedora has a bleeding edge rep( more bloody nose  ) so something is all most always broken.

Enjoy the Choice :)
