When do the cargoes replenish?

Running the roach coach from Atlantis to Serenity...when will there be more metal and food?

I usually take a break and exit the game and restart it later to replenish the cargoes.

However, I guess the way the game is meant to be played is probably that the cargoes are not replensihed very often so that you have an ecouragement to explore and seek out other planets and stations for cargo.

If I remember the code correctly you have a chance each trip for some of it to show back up. Its pretty much random as far as I know, though restarting the game is the easiest way to get it back.
