I use Linux Mandrake 9.0.
I've installed openAL_Mandrake and Vegastrike RPMs, without problem.
When I install the data RPM, I get a lot of messages :
"User daniel doesn't exist -- using root." and It seems to install nothing.
I have not find data installed on my computer
and when I launch vegastrike, it seems to not find
the directory.
Is there someone who knows this problem ?

I got the same, but that's not a problem, for me it's in /usr/local/games/vegastrike, I think (I'm actually not on my pc)
do an updatedb and locate *.xmesh, you will see that it's installed
the msg is a warning, not an error
To, launch the game, launch at first vsinstall, then vssetup, and after uou should launch vslauncher
